Yih Chuan Machinery Industry Co., Ltd., founded in Taichung City of central Taiwan in 1973, is a leading manufacturer of machine tools that markets globally under its own Extron label, offering mainly bench lathes, CNC and conventional milling machines, double-column machining centers, high-speed machining centers, and five-axis machining centers, of which over 25,000 remain in use worldwide.

Unless otherwise specified, Yih Chuan uses only PC-based Mitsubishi, Fanuc and other European CNC controllers on its CNC machines due to high quality, with some buyers ordering only bodies or frames to equip with controllers of their own choice.

Yih Chuan's DW-86U five-axis machining center has highly rigid, reliable structure (double column), linear guide way to support rapid feed, 800x600x510mm travel, direct-drive 15,000rpm spindle, 500mm table, and Siemens 840D control for mold making.

Its SU-85 five-axis machining center adopts all-axis direct drive for minimal backlash and long-lasting accuracy, with pre-tension ball screw ensuring high accuracy. Standard accessories include spindle air blast, air gun and water gun, coolant system, spindle cooling system, auto lubrication system, halogen work light, full enclosure, armless-type 12-tool ATC system, leveling bolts and pads, telescoping way cover, adjustable tools and tool box, alarm light, operating and upkeep manual.
