Savco Launches Surface Grip Technology-integrated Socket Adaptors

Taipei, Jan. 4, 2012 (CENS)--Savco Corporation, a world-caliber manufacturer of hand tools in Taiwan, has launched the newest Socket Adaptor built with its cutting-edge Surface Grip technology.

Surface Grip, the company indicated, is an innovative, industry-leading solution to the commonly seen problem that conventional bit holders can't provide firm grips on bits when notches on bit's hexagonal points are stripped after long time of use. The technology, already protected by multinational patents, enables bit holders to firmly hold bits with either standard or nonstandard specification on surface, instead of notches, and allows users to easily lock bits in holders and release them with single hands.

Built with the technology, the company claimed, its Surfix Adapters can replace traditional bit sockets and related tools functionally, as the series all feature quick release, firm grips, while able to save expandable costs of discarded broken bit sockets. Besides, the torque is also proven several times stronger than that required by DIN. Therefore, the tool has been regarded as the company's another promising product following its hot-seller Surfix AutoLock Bit Holder.

Since it was launched several years ago, the company's Surfix AutoLock Bit Holder, in fact, has been sought-after by professional users worldwide as one of the company's most successful applications of the Surface Grip technology.

The company's sales representative Tracy Huang noted that the bit holder is made of drop-forged chrome vanadium steel, and hence can withstand torque force of more than 71n/m, while able to grip C-6.3 and E-6.3 types of bits. The holder, Huang introduced, features an easy locking and releasing functions driven by the Surface Grip technology, allowing users to easily lock bits by pushing them into the holder with single fingers or release them by pulling backwards the colored outer ring of the holder. The product can be used for any kinds of hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools and is impact-resistant.
