Founded in 1994, Kadeya Enterprise Co., Ltd. is an innovative manufacturer of office and home furniture, including computer desks, conference tables, TV & entertainment stands, dining room sets, storage racks, display stands, towel racks, K/D furniture, etc.

To satisfy demanding customers, the company spares no effort on R&D to enhance innovation and develop stylish, functional products. Such effort enables the maker to effectively use various materials including plastics, zinc alloy, aluminum alloy, glass and wood to turn out a line of attractive products that are sought after globally.

Recently Kadeya has outdone itself by developing an electronically height-adjustable desk, with a built-in memory enabling presetting three preferred heights that can be adjusted at the touch of a button, an integrated LCD screen showing the desk height, and a safety switch preventing unintended adjustment. Believed the first of its kind, the desk is patented in many countries.

The company also offers desks with electro-mechanically adjustable, foldable desktops that can be angle-adjusted to suit any user. Another user-friendly item is a conference table with electro-mechanical height adjustability, enabling adjustment of tabletop to suit meetings as well as stand-up presentations.

“We have spent about three to four years on R&D to develop the electronic control and also a lot of money in mold development, and the mechanism is patented in Japan, Germany, China and Taiwan,” says C.Y. Lai, the president.

Unlike many peers who have moved production to China, Kadeya has kept all operations in Taiwan, with a plant in central Taiwan and workforce of around 100 persons.

Believing high quality plus innovative design are its core competitive advantages and insisting on offering the best-quality products at competitive prices, the maker exports almost all its products, with 70%-80% of which shipped to Japan and the remaining to Europe and the United States.
