Commercial Light Expo Provides Superb Lighting Business Facilities

Commercial Light Expo of Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, provides a complex of convenient facilities on its floors, where lighting manufacturers, exporters, outsourcing companies and design houses can set up offices, warehouses, logistics centers, product inspection labs, exporting outlets, design showrooms, and purchasing offices.

As a convenient location, the expo site is near an exit of the Zhong Jiang Super Highway and across the five-star Dengbo Hotel. Other amenities surrounding the site include banks, restaurants, light railway stations, and apartment houses.

The expo's executives point out that mainland China has emerged as a promising land for LED lighting, citing an estimate that the mainland's LED lighting market would scale up to RMB90.8 billion (US$14.4 billion at US$1:RBM6.3) as of 2014, a 69.2% increase in terms of compound annual growth rate (CAGR).

The bright estimate, the executives note, is based on the mainland's aggressive energy-saving projects, including a RMB4 trillion (US$634 billion) economic stimulus package highlighting government procurements of LED lighting equipment and the much-touted “Ten Cities, One Million LED Lights” project.

These market incentives have inspired international LED heavyweights, such as Cree, Philips, Osram, Epistar, and United Microelectronics Crop. (UMC), to open workshops or sale outlets in the mainland.
