Homn Reen Enterprise Co., Ltd., founded in 1985 to specialize in production of screws, is now Taiwan's largest manufacturer of self-tapping screws by output. With a well-established research and development department, the company is capable of developing and turning out a variety of specialty and standard screws in large volumes. Recently, Homn Reen became ISO/TS 16949 certified and an automotive OEM (original equipment manufacturer).

The company's major product line includes self-tapping screws, tapping screws, chipboard screws, drywall screws, roofing screws, composite screws, concrete screws, machine screws, thread cutting screws, thread forming screws, wood screws, and collated screws, etc.

With a work force of 190, Homn Reen mainly exports globally, with a small quantity sold domestically. Major export outlets include the U.S., Latin America, and the European Union.

With the plant in Taiwan churning out 1,500 tons of screws per month, the maker continuously invests in equipment to improve manufacturing skill while focusing on customer demand. Known as a leading screw manufacturer in Taiwan, the maker is dedicated to producing specialized screws in line with strict international standards.

Optimistic about market potential in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and to meet customers' special requirements in saving customs duties, the company will complete the construction of its new plant in Vietnam in 2014 to manufacture medium & low-end small carbon-steel screws and collated screws with estimated monthly capacity of 2,000 tons. Homn Reen's plant in Taiwan will focus on R&D of high value-added fasteners such as long-length screws, composite material screws, and self-tapping screws. (AW)
