Green May Develops High-end Electric Home-nursing Beds

To improve the functions of its beds, Green May spent more than a year developing a new model, pattern number GM09S, an innovative high-end multinational nursing bed that made its debut on Taiwan's market in September 2014.

"Elderly people often feel weak or lack strength in the lumbar area and the knees, making it difficult for them to get out of their beds. Our electric home nursing bed can help the old get up easier."

According to the official, the GM09S nursing bed is made of PE (polyethylene) and aluminum, with the former used for the bed plate and the latter for the frame. The bed has an Okin motor, from Germany, a brand that is widely used in many types of medical equipment. The bed also has a remote controller that allows the user to control the functions of the bed easily.

“For safety reasons, rails can be installed on both sides of the bed frame to protect the weak or disabled, and the bottom of the frame has two or three LEDs to serve as a night light. Moreover, the memory mattress that comes with the bed can be adjusted steplessly to meet the needs of the user,” the official said.

Generally speaking, the official added, the bed features comfort, safety, eco-friendliness, and economic efficiency, with all of its materials being recyclable and its parts replaceable.
