Changhua County Industrial Association Revving Up Int'l Marketing Efforts

As Taiwan's Changhua County is the central hub of the island's automotive parts production, the Changhua County Industrial Association has been actively assisting companies in extending their footprints to more foreign markets, in hopes of creating more international marketing opportunities for the county's auto parts makers.

There are currently 3,500 members in the association, with their vast production coverage including automotive and parts, metal product, transportation tools, rubber and plastics products, machinery equipment, textile and food processing.

The association has done a lot to upgrade industries, render mutual benefits for all members, expand international marketing resources and bolster economic growth. Among its efforts, the association has set up a “professional worker training center,” giving Changhua agencies the chance to offer workers further education and training programs. Over 200 educational training seminars are hosted every year, with classes focusing on training and cultivating talents needed in the segments of business management, finance, human resources, trade and economy, labor safety and hygiene. In the future, the association will continue offering training classes and issuing production certifications while working harder to push for more companies to attend domestic and international trade fairs, so as to help upgrade their competitiveness and achieve sustainable business development.

Association staffers will be attending 2018 AAPEX together with Taiwan's delegation, joining forces with the Taiwan government to help the island's high-quality auto parts suppliers expand their business in the North American market. The association will also work with Economic Daily News (CENS) in 2019 to lead a group of exhibitors to the show, seeking to offer global buyers another valuable choice.
