CENS.com Flexes Taiwan's Automotive Prowess at AAPEX

The annual Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) is the largest automotive show in the North American region, with 2,500 exhibitors attending and using 5,550 booths at this year's edition. The Economic Daily News (CENS.com), in tandem with Importers and Exporters Association Of Taipei, Taiwan Transportation Vehicle Manufacturers Association, Taiwan Forging Association and Southern Taiwan Auto-Parts Research & Strategy Alliance, have joined hands to host the “Taiwan Pavilion” at AAPEX.

The Economic Daily News has also integrated resources with foreign media, with the aim to boost Taiwan's exhibition group promotion. North America's World Journal is the largest Chinese language newspaper, maintaining a huge readership in Southern California. World Journal will be publishing reports for pre-show and on-going show events, a bid to invigorate businesses between Taiwan's exhibitors and Southern California's vehicle repair and maintenance businesses, as well as auto parts suppliers.

CENS.com will also be servicing on-site buyers through its internet services and the AAPEX Special Report newsletter that give foreign buyers an idea of what Taiwan's exhibitors offer. Aside from the biz match-making services, publications like maps of Taiwan's exhibitor booths and information of the companies are also available for buyers to procure. In representation of Taiwan's recognition of AAPEX's importance to the island's automotive industry, heavyweight industry players like Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers' Association Secretary-General Wu Tien-tsai, New Taipei Auto Parts Association Chairman Hsiao Zhi-wen, Changhua County Industrial Association Secretary-General Chen Yung-hsin will be on-site as well, visiting Taiwan exhibitors and taking in the market pulse at AAPEX.

Long-time AAPEX exhibitor Sportsman Corp. is taking advantage of the huge promotional possibilities at the show by lautheir newest soft-material roof tarp for trucks. General Manager Chen Jin-chen said their company started out as a camping tent maker, officially entering the vehicle-use tent industry in 2008. The firm uses their opportunities of exhibiting at big trade shows to understand market and client needs. Sportsman Corp.'s tents are not only patent-certified, but also won the German Red Dot Design Award. Chen said the core principles of making a good vehicle tent is clipping the tarp to the vehicle, and at the same time, be able to meet the varied specifications of each, different vehicle. He believes this is what Sportsman Corp. can offer to the American market.

New Power Technology Co., Ltd. is showcasing their lithium batteries for automotive use and household chargers, which come in diverse charging functions and can serve as supplementary power sources for households and vehicles. The firm's products have successfully entered Harbor Freight Tools stores on the west shore of the U.S.
