Founded in 2001, TWL Carbon began its operations as an auto parts and aftermarket accessories trading company, and eventually entering the field of OEM carbon fiber auto parts in 2012.
With many years of manufacturing experience, TWL identified a problem long, prevalent in the carbon fiber auto parts industry–the prices for carbon fiber used for auto parts are vastly different, while manufacturing technique and quality were inconsistent.
In a bid to solve such problems, TWL decided to set up an in-house RD center in Taiwan and build up its brand-TWL CARBON- paving the way for the company to move towards OBM operations from its previous OEM entity. The firm eventually began devoting its business into offering vacuum carbon fiber aero kits for all Porsche models.
To leverage its quality, the firm began to aim for the high-end sports car market, such as Ferrari and McLaren. The goal is to meet the expectations of high-end clients, infusing a new life into their vehicles.
One of the primary characteristics of the product is in its weight: vacuum carbon fiber body kits are one-third to half lighter than wet carbon fiber products, yet boasts higher hardness and durability, maintaining stable driving characteristics, reducing the windage efficiently and offering a more aggressive design.
At present, the carbon fiber air force kit products are available for models Porsche 987, 981, 718, Ferrari 488, as well as the McLaren 540C and 570S.
