Chan emphasized that the firm has strengthened overall quality control, as well as established its own coating system. Instead of choosing a liquid coating harmful to human and the environment, LC adopted powder coating instead. Powder coating is typically applied electrostatically to make paints adhere to the surface of the products and then cured at 220°C. There are several advantages for using powder coating. Firstly, the durability and thickness of the powder coating are three times as much as the liquid coating. Also, it is a more eco-friendly, less pollutive alternative, which greatly enhances health protection for the public. Therefore, despite the costly investment from purchasing powder coating equipment, the manufacturing process is now recognized by many international clients. Since LC Fuel Tank has established a stable market internationally with products exporting mainly to the United States and Europe, the firm's production is often in full capacity. In response to boosting production capacity further, LC Fuel Tank has invested in the construction of a new plant and equipment to satisfy the strong demand, with an estimated investment of NT$250 million for constructing a new plant situated in the Xiluo Futian Industrial Zone. The new production line and warehouse is slated to cover 13,200 square meters. Setting up three production lines and introducing semi-automated robotic arms can triple the current production capacity, speed up the delivery time to fulfill the purchasing demands from clients, thus resolve the problem of insufficient capacity.

Chan said that in response to the global market competition and changes, the automotive parts industry saw the gradual rise of the electric vehicle industry. Although, LC Fuel Tank has a good pulse on the aftermarket trends, it realizes the need to differentiate and diversify products.
