COMPUTEX 2025 Successfully Concludes: AI Implementation Accelerates, Taiwan Demonstrates Strategic Global Role

COMPUTEX 2025 successfully concluded on May 23. Over the four-day event, it attracted 86,521 buyers from 152 countries, including Japan, the United States, South Korea, Vietnam, and India. As a globally renowned exhibition focusing on AI and innovation, this year’s event was themed "AI Next", bringing together international tech giants and startup teams. The show attracted world-class buyers and unlocked significant business opportunities across upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors, reinforcing Taiwan’s position as a key international platform for technological exchange.

AI applications are flourishing worldwide. According to Gartner's “Top 10 Strategic Technology Trends for 2025,” technologies such as autonomous AI, humanoid robots, and advanced computing will deeply reshape various industries. This year, COMPUTEX centered on three main themes: Smart Computing & Robotics, Next-Gen Technologies, and Future Mobility, showcasing cutting-edge development and practical AI applications across industries.

Highlights from Leading Exhibitors:

Pegatron displayed AI-powered innovations including an interactive biomimetic robot dog and immersive VR headsets, demonstrating their integration capabilities in smart devices and human-machine interaction.

BenQ created a multi-interaction zone, featuring an AI golf simulation area that combines visual tracking, motion sensing, and intelligent analytics. Visitors could monitor their swing in real time, making it a popular interactive experience.

Advantech and Solomon showcased eye-catching Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), collaborative robotic arms, and AIoT platforms, highlighting Taiwan’s strong capabilities in smart manufacturing technologies and applications.

The Taiwan Advanced Automotive Technology Development Association (TADA) also organized the Smart Mobility Pavilion, collaborating with 19 brands including WinLink, Pegatron, Sysgration, and Otimo. The exhibition presented cutting-edge automotive solutions and fostered exchange in smart and electric vehicle technologies.

InnoVEX Celebrates a Decade of Growth

In its tenth year, the InnoVEX startup zone continued to expand, featuring 450 startup companies from 24 countries, a 12.5% increase from last year. Notably, Thailand and the Philippines participated with national pavilions for the first time, collectively bringing 22 startups to Taiwan—highlighting the rise of startup innovation in Asia and InnoVEX’s expanding global connectivity.

The InnoVEX Forum welcomed high-profile speakers from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Solomon, and Advantech, who shared insights on how AI is driving innovation and shaping the future of digital transformation.

The InnoVEX Pitch Contest award was presented to Taiwan-based startup DeepRad.AI, which applies AI technology to medical imaging analysis. Their platform enables early disease detection and risk prediction, earning strong praise from judges for its vision and dedication to public health.

COMPUTEX 2025 once again demonstrated Taiwan’s key role in global technology development, serving as a pivotal stage where innovation, applications, and cross-border collaborations converge.
