The average temperatures for the last 15 years have set a new historical record. Over the past 40 years, the thickness of the ice at the poles has shrunk by 40%. By 2050, there may be 200 million climate refugees. This is all the high price paid by the planet for human behavior.
We must stop killing the planet. We should instead turn to the skies or our own power for renewable energy sources. Let us continue to uphold the Kyoto Protocol, conserve energy, reduce carbon emissions and protect the environment.
