ARCS Precision Technology Co., Ltd., established in 2004, specializes in developing and supplying optical measuring equipment as non-contact gauges, linear scales (linear encoders) and digital readouts (readout system).

The company mainly offers vision measuring system (non-contact measuring systems and CNC non-contact measuring systems and coordinate measuring machines), metrology software (cross-hair measuring software for vision measuring system, multi-functional image measuring software for vision measuring system, and CNC vision measurement software for vision measuring system), accessories (learning kit, calibration gauge, rotary table, illumination controllers, objection lens, magnetic holder, zoom lens, step lens, single sine plate with magnetic chuck, and vise), linear scale (linear encoders) and digital readouts (DRO).

The traditional optical profile projector, despite being the typical inspection equipment for many years, cannot meet high accuracy and speed demands from high-tech industries; but ARCS's non-contact video measuring system uses CCD to capture images.

ARCS says the non-contact video measuring system effectively overcomes the inconvenience of changing the lens and difficulty to measure surface of workpieces on the profile projector, enhancing statistical analysis for direct SPC report.

Besides distributing products globally, the maker is strengthening technical capacity by setting up a calibration laboratory meeting CNLA (Chinese National Laboratory Accreditation) standards, claiming to be the only laboratory able to calibrate both profile projector and non-contact measurement equipment in Taiwan.
