Economic Daily News Leads Taiwanese Exhibitors to Strong Performance at AAPEX 2025
2025/11/06 | By CENSThe most influential automotive aftermarket trade show in North America, AAPEX 2025 (Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo), was held from November 4 to 6 at The Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, USA. This year's edition attracted around 2,500 exhibitors from over 46 countries, comprehensively showcasing innovative products and technological solutions across the global automotive aftermarket supply chain. The event served as an annual highlight for the worldwide automotive parts industry.

North America has long been a vital market for global automotive parts suppliers, with Taiwanese businesses consistently playing a pivotal role in the worldwide automotive aftermarket (AM). Amid shifting U.S. trade and tariff policies, Taiwanese manufacturers emphasized the importance of on-site participation to grasp market trends and explore cooperation and response strategies.
Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Ho Chin-tsang led an official delegation to AAPEX 2025, encouraging Taiwanese exhibitors and collecting valuable insights for future policy formulation. Affected by the U.S.–China trade tensions and ongoing supply chain restructuring, the number of Chinese exhibitors—historically dominant—declined significantly this year, falling to roughly half of previous levels. The exhibition atmosphere was therefore more relaxed, enabling deeper and more pragmatic business discussions between buyers and exhibitors.

To further showcase Taiwan’s manufacturing excellence and industrial image, the Economic Daily News and its subsidiary China Economic News Agency jointly organized the Taiwan Pavilion in collaboration with the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei (IEAT), Taiwan Transportation Vehicle Manufacturers Association (TTVMA), Changhua Importers & Exporters Chamber of Commerce, Taiwan Forging Association (TFA), Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), Keelung Motor Vehicle Material Merchants Association, Taipei Motor Vehicle Material Merchants Association, Taiwan Automotive R&D and Strategic Alliance, and the Taiwan Automotive Electrical Parts Association.
This year's Taiwan Pavilion featured 98 companies across 128 booths, marking its largest scale to date. Exhibits covered a comprehensive range of products, including driving safety and ADAS systems, fuel engine components, fuel supply and braking systems, steering, suspension and chassis parts, body components, cooling and air conditioning systems, maintenance tools, testing equipment, and electronic accessories—fully demonstrating the high quality and cost-effectiveness of Taiwanese manufacturing.
In addition to delegation coordination, two waves of global buyer invitations were issued before the show, encouraging international visitors to explore Taiwanese booths and collect professional resources such as the long-standing industry publication Taiwan Transportation Equipment Guide (TTG) — now in its 39th year — along with its accompanying USB database, the Taiwan Hand Tools, and the Taiwan Industrial Suppliers (TIS). During the exhibition, an on-site instant business matching platform was also established to connect buyers and manufacturers directly, facilitating real-time cooperation opportunities.
Furthermore, the special edition "AAPEX Show Express" consolidated information on all Taiwanese exhibitors and was distributed free of charge to visitors. The publication received an overwhelming response from buyers and became another highlight of the Taiwan Pavilion, effectively strengthening Taiwan's image as a reliable and innovative sourcing partner in the global automotive aftermarket.
