Taiwan Machine Tool Show (TMTS) 2026 to Feature the Latest Technology Advancements in Taiwan
2026/01/21 | By Sherry ChenThe Taiwan International Machine Tool Show 2026 (TMTS) will be held from March 25 to 28 at the Taichung International Exhibition Center. Organized by the prestigious Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Association (TMBA), the exhibition is expected to attract around 70,000 industry professionals from Taiwan and abroad, including 3,500 international buyers actively seeking digital and low-carbon manufacturing solutions.
Under the theme of “AI Empowerment, Smart Manufacturing, and Sustainability,” the TMTS 2026 show underscores the industry’s strategic pivot towards intelligent and sustainable manufacturing at a time when AI and automation are reshaping global production systems. The event will showcase high-value-added technologies designed to address the evolving needs of advanced and energy-efficient manufacturing.

Approximately 400 exhibitors are expected to participate, exhibiting 1,800 booths across the four-day event. For the first time, the show will adopt an ecosystem-based exhibition model, bringing together cross-brand solutions across sectors including aerospace, semiconductors, energy, unmanned systems, medical devices, robotics, and high-end automation.
Industry leaders such as Fair Friend Group, HIWIN, YCM, Tongtai Machine & Tool, GOODWAY Machine, and Taiwan FANUC, will be joined by national pavilions from Germany, Switzerland, the United States, and South Korea, alongside specialist zones for tooling and bearings. Industry alliances, including the Super Precision Equipment's Manufacturing Alliance (SPEMA) and the Precision Machinery Development Association of Taiwan (CMD), will also be participating.
Leveraging Taichung’s dense machine tool manufacturing cluster, the exhibition will feature multi-sector AI experience zones demonstrating real-world applications such as digital twins, intelligent scheduling, and energy management. Together, these elements feature TMTS 2026 as a strategic platform for dialogues on the future of manufacturing.
CENS / Economic Daily News actively participates in this event to assist procurement buyers with matchmaking, especially focusing on connecting them with Taiwan suppliers.
