Among all, sixty percent of the firms expect 5-10% revenue and export growth. The March TMTS 2026 event will showcase Taiwan's smart manufacturing competitiveness at this pivotal moment.
Chairman Chen expressed his gratitude for the recent settlement of the U.S.-Taiwan trade deal. He sees 2026 as a year of inflection, projecting at least 6-8% growth in exports to the United States. For the first time, the reciprocal tariff deal has positioned Taiwanese products as equally competitive with Japan, South Korea, and the EU. Chairman Chen stated that Taiwan's machine tools are ready to join the partnership as a trusted and resilient supply chain partner with the global supply chain. Chairman Chen also forecasted that the margin enhancement will now fuel a research and development transition, delivering visible industry growth in 2026.
