AI WAVE SHOW to Debut at Month's End, Showcasing Artificial Intelligence's Soft and Hard Power
2025/07/30 | By CENSThe AI WAVE SHOW 2025, a flagship artificial intelligence (AI) technology exhibition for the Asia-Pacific region, will be held in Taipei on July 31. The event will connect over 100 domestic and international AI software and hardware suppliers, highlighting AI applications and AI ecosystem development. Industry analysts expect this event to not only further elevate Taiwan’s AI industry chain on the global stage but also to spotlight participating companies such as Winbond, YUSEM, MSI, Advantech, Solomon, and Jingcheng.
AI enthusiasm remains strong, with the Executive Yuan having launched the “Top Ten AI Infrastructure Development Plan,” aiming to generate over NT$15 trillion in economic output by 2040 and create 500,000 high-paying jobs in the AI sector. Additionally, Taiwan’s six major industrial associations have formed the “Taiwan AI Robotics Industry Alliance,” further boosting the country's AI robotics industry development.
Riding the ongoing AI wave, the AI WAVE SHOW—guided by the Ministry of Digital Affairs and co-hosted by the Digital Industry Agency and the Taipei Computer Association—will take place from July 31 to August 2. The event aims to position Taiwan as a global AI hub and establish a premier AI technology application exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region, themed “Connecting the World, Visualizing the Future.” Nearly 200 companies, including AMD, Microsoft Taiwan, Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile, MSI, and Shentong, will showcase over 300 AI-powered products and solutions. The event expects to attract approximately 50,000 attendees.
The AI WAVE SHOW will focus on four vertical sectors: smart mobility and education technology, healthcare AI solutions, financial technology (FinTech) and digital marketing, and smart manufacturing. It will feature four dedicated zones: visual recognition technology, AI core processors and hardware, language models, and edge computing and cloud computing.
While Taiwan’s major players like TSMC, Foxconn, and Quanta have already established themselves in the global AI industry, AI WAVE SHOW emphasizes AI technology innovation, AI solutions, and practical AI applications. The event demonstrates Taiwan’s comprehensive AI ecosystem capabilities—from foundational hardware to integrated AI applications—offering one-stop AI solutions that accelerate AI adoption across industries.
Semiconductor and chip design companies such as AMD, Winbond, and YUSEM are actively participating. AI system providers including MSI, Advantech, Nuvoton, Weichuan, NewHann, Lingchun, Shentong, Liling, and Zotac will showcase their latest technologies.
Leading the AI robotics segment are Solomon, Ubitus, and Weikang. Meanwhile, companies like Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile, Taiwan Smart Cloud, Yilan, Acer Smart Transportation, Wistron Software, Ruiyang, Midatech, and Jingcheng are developing AI platforms and AI-powered solutions.
