Shinjin’s Taiwan Branch to Supply Standardized Carbon Steel Plates Soon
2025/08/13 | By CENS | SHINJIN-SM (TAIWAN) CO., LTD.Shinjin Standard Metal Co., Ltd., Taiwan branch of the South Korean steel-plate maker Shinjin SM Co., Ltd., recently announced it would soon begin to supply Taiwan’s manufacturers with standardized carbon steel plates at extremely competitive prices.
The Taiwan branch pointed out that its products would help boost competitiveness of Taiwan’s steel-processing industries thanks to its shortened lead time and lower prices. It added that it would assure its Taiwanese customers of steady supply of standardized plates and other steel plates and help them precisely manage procurement cost and time.
Since its inception in 2001, the South Korean parent company has persistently worked on innovative steel-plate processing techniques based on high-speed circular saw cutting technique. So far, the company has opened workshops and sales offices in South Korea, Japan, Singapore and Thailand to supply its customers with steel plates that are consistent in quality, rapid in delivery, and reasonable in price.
The Taiwan subsidiary is projected to supply SS400-, S45C-, and S50C-grade plates in early stage and AL-, SUS-, and SKD11-grade plates in late stage. Moreover, the company will provide
tailor-made service on plate thickness, width, length, and quantity according to diff erent needs from semiconductor, battery-material, automobile, electronic, machinery, and electric-power sectors.
Sinjin Taiwan has opened a factory in northern Taiwan and plans to set up facilities in central and southern Taiwan to enhance its service network for Taiwanese customers.
