The Rebuild Ukraine Exhibition opened on November 13 in Warsaw, Poland, where the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), led by Deputy Minister Cynthia Kiang (江文若), took a delegation of 31 Taiwanese companies to pursue reconstruction business opportunities in Ukraine and promote industrial cooperation with Poland.

To showcase Taiwan’s strengths across sectors including machinery, ICT, energy, medical devices and unmanned systems, the exhibition featured the “Taiwan Pavilion,” which is three times larger than last year’s and is the only national pavilion from Asia.

Deputy Minister Kiang noted that Taiwan possesses a comprehensive industrial cluster and supply chain in smart manufacturing and ICT. She emphasized that Taiwan’s advantages—flexibility, customization and stable quality—are internationally recognized and position Taiwan to provide equipment and technologies needed for Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Kiang also stated that the visiting delegation—comprising over 100 members—is Taiwan’s largest economic and trade mission ever dispatched to Poland, demonstrating strong industry ambition to establish a foothold in Poland while seizing reconstruction-related exhibition opportunities.

According to the Taiwan Trade Administration (TTA), the Taiwan Pavilion attracted inquiries from buyers across Ukraine, Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic, with Taiwanese suppliers expressing strong interest in participating in Ukraine’s rebuilding effort.

The MOEA hosted a “Taiwan Night” event the day before the opening ceremony, attended by nearly 200 government officials, legislators and business representatives from Taiwan, Poland and Ukraine, facilitating lively on-site exchanges.

The MOEA added that through this exhibition and accompanying exchange activities, Taiwan not only deepens its industrial linkages with Poland, Ukraine and European markets, but also positions Taiwanese high-quality products and solutions for practical application in Ukraine’s reconstruction—thereby enhancing Taiwan’s prospects for future rebuilding business opportunities.
