The Taichung Industry Fair 2026, organized by the Taichung City Chamber of Commerce, opened on January 16 at the Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Center, marking the largest business-to-consumer, cross-industry exhibition in central Taiwan. With support from the central government, the venue is expected to expand into an international convention and exhibition hub serving the wider Asian market.

According to Mr. Hsieh, chairman of the Taichung City Chamber of Commerce, the event, which ended today on January 19th, brought together 50 industry associations and exhibitors from seven countries, including Japan. A total of 684 booths have been arranged across a broad range of themes, spanning consumer goods, tourism, new vehicle launches, and AI-enabled home appliances. The expo has attracted more than 100,000 visitors and generated over NT$300 million in consumer spending.

Dancelight, a leading domestic lighting brand, presents its latest developments under the theme “Light, Design, Technology and the Future of Space,” showcasing smart controls, health lighting, and energy-efficient solutions.

Jozen Smart Tech has launched a series of smart tool cabinets and open-weighing storage systems designed to improve efficiency, accessibility, and inventory management in CNC machining operations.

Meanwhile, Tian Shuh Industrial exhibited professional CNC parts manufacturing product demands, including WORX power tools, alongside equipment for construction measurement, formwork, woodworking, interior renovation, and agricultural applications.

Together, the exhibits reflect the broader SME value-added products, digital integration, and practical innovation trends that are increasingly shaping Taiwan’s industrial competitiveness.
