TWMA Relaunches Overseas Marketing Plan, Leading Taiwanese Manufacturers into the European Market

2025/08/18 | By CENS

Taiwan’s woodworking machinery industry is actively expanding into emerging markets to break through the current export landscape. Zhang Yinggong, Chairman of the Taiwan Woodworking Machinery Industry Association (TWMA), noted that Europe has long been a global hub for woodworking machinery and furniture manufacturing, with Poland serving as a core center for furniture and wood processing in Central and Eastern Europe. The market continues to grow and demonstrates strong order-taking and processing capabilities, making it an ideal entry point for Taiwanese companies to expand into Europe.

To this end, TWMA has relaunched its overseas marketing initiative. Chairman Zhang will lead a delegation of member companies to participate in the 2025 Poland International Woodworking Machinery and Furniture Accessories Exhibition, showcasing Taiwan’s strengths in R&D innovation, precision manufacturing, and smart automation. The delegation will also hold in-depth negotiations with Polish furniture, panel, accessories, and wood processing companies to explore opportunities for building a comprehensive supply chain collaboration.

The promotional delegation features a strong lineup of eight leading Taiwanese woodworking machinery brands—Zheng Guang, Chang Ju, Hong Ye, En De, Gao Wei, Zhang Jin, Shun Guang, and Long De—with a total exhibition area of 120 square meters. They will present the latest products and smart solutions, fully highlighting Taiwan’s advanced technologies and turnkey export capabilities in woodworking machinery.

In addition, TWMA will leverage this occasion to promote the Wood Taiwan International Woodworking and Furniture Manufacturing Exhibition, with the aim of attracting more international buyers and overseas key exhibitors to Taiwan. The goal is to establish a truly international platform for industry exchange and cooperation, further strengthening Taiwan's role as a hub in the global woodworking machinery and furniture manufacturing sectors.

Chairman Zhang emphasized that Taiwan's woodworking machinery has long been recognized worldwide for its high precision, durability, and flexible customization. However, in today's environment of intensifying global competition and rapidly changing customer demands, only through continuous advancement in smart production lines, digitalization, and sustainable development can the industry maintain growth and secure new business opportunities.

He stressed that participating in the Polish exhibition is not only an important opportunity to promote Taiwan’s brand image but also a means to establish long-term partnerships with buyers from Poland and neighboring countries through business matching and technical exchanges, thereby enhancing the international influence and competitiveness of Taiwan's woodworking machinery industry in Europe.

Looking ahead, Chairman Zhang stated that TWMA will continue working closely with member companies and related industry associations to expand into global markets, connect upstream and downstream supply chains, strengthen industrial capabilities, and lay a solid foundation for Taiwan’s woodworking machinery industry as it steadily advances toward the global stage.
