Taiwan's Largest Hardware Industry Exhibition TiTE x IHT 2025 to Debut in Taichung, Showcasing Smart, Sustainable Manufacturing
2025/10/21 | By CENSFront-Store Back-Factory × Flexible Supply Chain × Smart Transformation & Sustainability: Creating Asia's Golden Procurement Week Spotlight
TiTE x IHT 2025 – Taiwan’s largest hardware and hand tool exhibition – will take place from October 21 to 23 at the newly opened Taichung International Convention Center (TICEC, Shuinan). Co-hosted by the Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers’ Association and Langson Marketing Co., Ltd., the event marks a new milestone for Taiwan’s manufacturing industry, combining smart transformation, flexible supply chains, and sustainable innovation under one roof.
The opening ceremony will be jointly presided over by President Lai Ching-te, Taichung Mayor Lu Hsiu-yen, and TAITRA Chairman Huang Chih-fang, symbolizing strong collaboration between central and local governments to propel Taiwan’s manufacturing toward internationalization and high-value growth. As the first major international trade show held at the new Shuinan venue, TiTE x IHT 2025 sets the stage for Taiwan to become Asia’s next international procurement hub.
Smart Innovation Drives Taiwan’s Hardware Industry Resilience Amid Global Shifts
Amid tariff barriers, exchange rate fluctuations, ESG pressures, and global procurement de-risking trends, Taiwan’s hardware and hand tool industries are entering a pivotal phase of supply chain restructuring. TiTE x IHT 2025 will feature 361 exhibitors across 800 booths, covering 8,000 square meters of exhibition space. It is expected to attract 12,000 professional buyers and 1,000 international decision-makers from North America, Europe, Northeast Asia, and Southeast Asia.
With its core theme “Leading Industry Breakthroughs, Building an International Procurement Hub,” the exhibition helps Taiwanese manufacturers enhance global competitiveness through compliance, traceability, and cost control. The event integrates the MOEA Bureau of Foreign Trade’s Global Order Acquisition Program and TAITRA’s TAIWAN SELECT initiative, while aligning with the Canton Fair’s autumn session to form Asia’s “Golden Procurement Week,” positioning Taichung as a vital hub connecting global brands and buyers.
“Front-Store, Back-Factory” Model Builds Agile, Flexible Supply Chains
Located in the heart of central Taiwan’s most comprehensive hardware, hand tool, and metal processing cluster, the Taichung International Convention Center embodies the concept of “exhibition as production base, production base as brand.” Through the “front-store, back-factory” model, buyers can engage directly with factories, leveraging the region’s strengths in small-batch customization, rapid prototyping, and stable delivery. This approach enables efficient, low-risk procurement and highlights Taiwan’s flexibility, precision, and reliability.
Leading exhibitors include KING TONY, WOLF’S HEAD, MACHAN, LANCER, PROXENE, REDAI, EASEN, TIEN-I, JUN KAUNG, INFAR, and HSUN WANG, showcasing high-torque tools, automotive repair equipment, and electronic testing instruments for EV and smart car maintenance. The show also connects with global brands such as Stanley Black & Decker, Snap-on, Würth Group, KTC Kyoto Tool, TONE, Bahco, and Facom, as well as major retail chains including Leroy Merlin, Kingfisher, OBI, Hornbach, Ace Hardware, and HomePro. Together, they build a collaborative network of Brands × Distribution × Manufacturing × Supply Chain, reinforcing central Taiwan’s role as Asia’s manufacturing and procurement powerhouse.
Global Hardware Innovation Summit Promotes Sustainable Transformation
Concurrent with the exhibition, the Global Hardware Innovation Summit will spotlight three major themes: smart manufacturing, net-zero sustainability, and industrial digitalization. Distinguished speakers include Professor Yu Zong-long of National Chung Hsing University, CEO Xie Zong-xun of National Cheng Kung University, and Dr. Hsu Hsiao-hung of China Steel Corporation, who will analyze carbon policy and supply chain transformation strategies. The Feng Chia University Carbon Neutrality Team will also share insights on low-carbon manufacturing and sustainable practices.
Special guest speaker Naoya Hasegawa, Chairman of the Tsubame-Sanjo Trade Promotion Association (Japan), will present how Japan’s vocational education and industry-academia collaboration have driven regional revitalization and craftsmanship innovation. “Only when craftsmanship and markets evolve together can the industry achieve true sustainability,” he noted. The forum underscores the importance of industry-academia-research collaboration in driving Taiwan’s hardware industry toward smart, compliant, and sustainable growth.
Showcasing Taiwan's Manufacturing Strength to the World
Under the intersecting challenges of tariffs, currency fluctuations, and carbon neutrality, Taiwan’s manufacturing sector is at a critical turning point. TiTE × IHT 2025 is more than an industry gathering—it is a live reflection of the supply chain ecosystem. The exhibition connects brand decision-makers directly with production capabilities, demonstrating Taiwan’s technological resilience, delivery reliability, and industrial credibility.
Hand Tool Association Chairman Xie Wuzhi remarked that “global manufacturing has shifted from price competition to trust competition.” With a complete industrial cluster and agile production system, Taiwan is well-positioned to find new growth opportunities under ESG and carbon tax regulations. Langson Marketing General Manager Liu Zifeng added that the exhibition’s vision—“exhibition as production base, production base as brand”—enables enterprises to connect globally in a transparent and efficient manner.
As the global industrial landscape evolves, Taiwan continues advancing supply chain upgrades through “Smart Transformation & Innovation × Sustainable Compliance,” turning manufacturing capability into Taiwan’s most resilient and trusted international competitive edge.
