The Taiwan Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers Association (TWMA) led eight representative manufacturers to participate in the 2025 Poland International Woodworking Machinery and Furniture Accessories Exhibition in early September. Despite fluctuating global economic conditions and fierce market competition, the delegation achieved impressive results.

Post-exhibition reports indicated that Taiwanese manufacturers successfully demonstrated their strengths in R&D innovation, precision manufacturing, and smart automation. They attracted numerous buyers from Central and Eastern Europe, with sales performance surpassing expectations. Notably, Chang Ju Machinery Co., Ltd. secured on-site orders for exhibited equipment, underscoring the strong capability of Taiwanese woodworking machinery for immediate sales.

Although this year’s exhibition was smaller in scale than previous editions, TWMA’s specially organized Taiwan Pavilion effectively united the industry, creating a “national team” presence. Many professional distributors and machinery agents proactively visited the pavilion, which not only boosted returns for individual exhibitors but also allowed all participating companies to engage with potential partners through the group’s collective strength.

TWMA Chairman Chang Yin-kung remarked that in the face of unpredictable global challenges, Taiwanese manufacturers have shown remarkable resilience, likening their persistence to “walking with stones in their shoes” yet continuing forward. This determination, he emphasized, is a key reason why Taiwan’s woodworking machinery industry has long been recognized internationally.

TWMA also took the opportunity to promote the “Wood Taiwan International Woodworking & Furniture Manufacturing Exhibition,” which drew strong interest from overseas buyers and reinforced Taiwan’s role as a global platform for woodworking industry exchange. Chairman Chang further highlighted Poland’s strategic importance as a major hub for furniture and wood processing in Central and Eastern Europe, noting its vast market potential. He expressed hope that Poland could serve as a new base for Taiwanese manufacturers expanding into Europe. During the exhibition, Chairman Chang and TWMA member companies met with representatives from the Polish-Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce to explore future cooperation opportunities and lay the groundwork for stronger bilateral industrial ties.

Chairman Chang attributed the exhibition’s success to the collective efforts of all member companies, emphasizing that “the dedication and commitment of each company are the most valuable assets of Taiwan’s woodworking machinery industry.” He also extended his gratitude to Exhibition International Enterprise Co., Ltd. for its professional organization and to Xiao Chi Exhibition Design Co., Ltd. for its thoughtful booth design and support, which enhanced the Taiwan Pavilion’s overall image and impact on the international stage.

Looking ahead, TWMA will continue working with member companies to advance smart integrated production lines, digitalization, and sustainable development, ensuring that Taiwanese woodworking machinery continues to expand its influence in Poland, across Europe, and around the globe.
